At Punta Paloma, one of the most magical and energetic spots in Tarifa, I had the pleasure of working with Lucía Oderiz, a KAP (Kundalini Activation Process) facilitator based in Marbella. Lucía was looking for a professional photographer who could go beyond the typical portrait, someone capable of capturing the essence of her spiritual lifestyle, her deep connection to nature, and the energy flow she transmits in her practice.
For this photoshoot, we sought to create light, ethereal, and harmonious images that reflected her inner peace and vibrant energy. The golden dunes of Punta Paloma, with the infinite horizon and warm sunset, provided the perfect backdrop for this purpose.
Throughout the session, we alternated between telephoto lenses to focus on emotional and close-up portraits, and wide-angle shots to frame Lucía within the vast natural landscape. The changing light of the setting sun challenged us to work with precision and speed, making the most of those golden minutes that only Tarifa can offer.
One of the most special aspects of this shoot was achieving the feeling of elevation, symbolizing Lucía's spiritual connection. Using my expertise in Adobe Photoshop, I refined these images in post-production, carefully retouching details to create a subtle and elegant levitation effect. This creative touch is something I often apply in my work, and many clients have trusted me to enhance their photographs through professional editing.
